Subscription Terms
1. Overview
These Subscription Terms describe the specific terms of your npass.io subscription, including billing, payment, plan features, and auto-renewal terms. These terms supplement our Terms of Service.
2. Subscription Plans
npass.io offers the following subscription plans:

2.1 Per-User Pricing Model
npass.io uses a per-user pricing model. You are billed based on:
- Number of Users: The number of individual user accounts in your organization
- Selected Plan: Starter, Professional, or Enterprise
- Billing Cycle: Monthly or annual
Each user can manage up to the specified number of devices included in their plan. Additional devices can be added at $0.50 per device/month.
2.2 Free Trial
New subscribers receive a 14-day free trial of the Professional plan. The trial includes:
- Full access to all plan features
- No credit card required (for signup)
- Automatic conversion to paid plan upon trial expiration
- Ability to cancel anytime during trial period
If you cancel before trial expiration, no charges apply. If you don't cancel, your selected plan will be charged on the next billing date.
3. Billing and Payment
3.1 Billing Cycle
You can choose between monthly or annual billing:
- Monthly: Charged on the same date each month
- Annual: Charged on the same date each year (2-month discount applied)
3.2 Payment Processing
All payments are processed securely by Paddle.com. Paddle accepts:
- Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- Debit cards
- PayPal
- Bank transfers (depending on region)
- Apple Pay, Google Pay
3.3 Currency and Taxes
Currency: Subscription pricing is in USD by default. Currency may be adjusted based on your billing location.
Taxes and VAT: Tax rates vary by location. Paddle automatically calculates and applies applicable VAT/GST based on your billing address and company registration status. Tax amounts are shown during checkout and on your invoice.
3.4 Invoice and Receipt
You will receive an invoice or receipt from Paddle for each billing cycle. Invoices are available through your account dashboard or can be requested from Paddle support.
4. Auto-Renewal
4.1 Automatic Renewal
Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel beforehand. You will be charged the applicable subscription fee for your selected plan and billing cycle.
4.2 Renewal Notification
We will send you an email reminder 7 days before your renewal date. This email will include:
- Your current plan and pricing
- Your renewal date
- Instructions for cancellation or plan changes
4.3 Price Changes
If we change our subscription pricing, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance. The new pricing will take effect on your next renewal date. If you do not agree to the new pricing, you can cancel before the renewal date.
5. Plan Changes
5.1 Upgrade
You can upgrade to a higher-tier plan at any time. The upgrade becomes effective immediately:
- You pay a pro-rata amount for the remainder of your current billing cycle
- Your next billing date remains unchanged
- You immediately gain access to higher-tier features
5.2 Downgrade
You can downgrade to a lower-tier plan at any time. The downgrade becomes effective on your next renewal date:
- No charges or refunds apply for the current billing cycle
- You will be charged the lower price on your next renewal date
- You retain access to current plan features through the end of your billing period
5.3 Adding Users
You can add users to your subscription at any time. Additional users are charged pro-rata for the remainder of your current billing cycle and included in full on your next renewal.
5.4 Removing Users
You can remove users from your subscription. Removed users lose access immediately, and you receive a pro-rata credit toward your next billing cycle if applicable.
6. Cancellation
6.1 How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time through:
- Self-Service: Dashboard settings > Subscription > Cancel Subscription
- Email: Contact global@netcube.com
- Paddle Support: Contact Paddle support
6.2 Effective Date of Cancellation
Your subscription will be cancelled at the end of your current billing period. You retain full access to npass.io through the end of your paid period. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.
6.3 Refund on Cancellation
Cancellation during your paid subscription does not result in a refund. For refund eligibility, see our Refund Policy.
7. Failed Payments
7.1 Payment Failure
If your payment method fails, Paddle will attempt to retry payment according to their retry schedule (typically up to 4 times over 14 days).
7.2 Grace Period
If payment fails, you enter a grace period:
- Duration: 14 days from the initial payment failure
- Access: You retain limited access to npass.io during the grace period
- Resolution: Update your payment method or contact support
7.3 Suspension
If payment is not resolved after the grace period expires, your subscription is suspended:
- Your access to npass.io is restricted
- You cannot create new devices, users, or policies
- Audit data remains available for viewing
- You can re-activate by updating your payment method
7.4 Termination
If payment remains unresolved for 30 days, your account may be terminated and data may be deleted per our Terms of Service.

- Custom pricing based on your organization size
- Unlimited users and devices
- Custom SLA (Service Level Agreement)
- Dedicated account manager
- Priority support
- Custom deployment options
9. Merchant of Record Disclosure
Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all npass.io subscriptions. This means:
- Paddle processes all payments on our behalf
- Paddle handles all customer service inquiries related to billing and payments
- Paddle processes refunds and handles billing disputes
- Paddle is responsible for tax and VAT compliance
- Your relationship for billing purposes is with Paddle

10. Changes to Subscription Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Subscription Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to you via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Your continued use of npass.io after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
